Nicholas Anderson: The number of people using AM only radios is probably tiny. The number who don't have access to FM, DAB, Freeview, satellite or internet radio will be even smaller. Spending millions of pounds broadcasting on AM to reach such a small number of people is a huge waste of money.

Phil Smith: Poole and the wider Dorset area has had DAB and DAB+ stations available for many years. Put your postcode into the link below and it will show which stations are predicted to be available.

Nicholas Anderson: Radio Caroline is a community station largely broadcasting to its own group of fans. It isn't a commercial station and therefore doesn't have the same financial considerations (i.e. it doesn't need to make a profit as long as enough people are willing to fund it).

Mike O'Sullivanm: The 250+ range is streaming channels, which don't appear to be compatible with your TV.

Chris.SE: Taken from another forum, ITV's +1 channels all now share one stream on SDN/COM4 with the following broadcast hours:
ITV2 +1 7am - 2am
ITV Be +1 2am - 4am
ITV3 +1 4am - 6am
ITV4 +1 6am - 7am
ITV2 +1 previously had it's own stream running 24 hours a day, so this now leaves free space for another channel, although I have no idea what that channel might be or when it might appear.

nick : 277 on Freeview is UK Radio Portal, which allows various radio stations to be streamed on supported internet connected TVs. If it works on your TV you should be able to select a station, if not then your TV may not be supported.
