Whilst only partially free TV, Setanta Sports presents viewers with new sport viewing choices - which depend upon your digital television reception equipment.
Setanta Sports provides only a single channel on Freeview, and the main sporting events such as Premier League football, PGA Gold and the Champion's League are carried by this "best of" channel, but minority-interest sports such as NASN and Racing UK are not.
The Freeview channel is transmitted on multiplex 2 and appears on the Freeview electronic programme guide as channel 34. If you can watch Channel 4 and ITV-1 on Freeview, you can see Setanta, but you may need to rescan your channels first.
Some magazine shows such as the Monday Night Goals and the Friday Football Preview will be carried free-to-air to promote the channel's output.
However, to subscribe you will need either a Freeview box with a "card slot" (aka a CAM slot), a Top-Up TV box, or a Freeview Playback box with a slot. You can subscribe online or call 08712 00 33 22 to get the required card. The cost is 9.99 per month.
If you are a Skysubscriber OR you are an Sky ex-subscriber with a viewing card OR you have a Freesat from Sky card you can subscribe online or or call 08712 00 33 22.
If you have a non-Sky satellite system with or without a card slot, you cannot subscribe. However, if you have a Sky box without a subscription card, you need first to contact www.freesatfromsky.com to pay 20 for a Sky Freesat card or you need to resubscribe to Sky to obtain a viewing card.

hi i have full sky subscriptions, including multi room, but i really only watch sport for football [liverpool fc]when they arnt on sky and carnt wait for repeats on lvc tv ,i lookk for live streaming,i have managed a couple of times to find setanta broadcasting the games,do they broadcast all liverpool games live, and how would i go about watching the matches through my tv [sky]i also subscibe to espn but not impressed has lfc only on every now and then, can you help
best way to think of this in my experiance is to consider sky sports games as best quality stream? if a game is not being shown live somewhere, it wont be streamed! and no club will broadcast every game as they will lose on season ticket sales an revenue! hope this helps mate. nffc
