The regional maps now show more detail
published on UK Free TV

All the regional maps on UK Free TV have been updated to show additional information.

So when you view the BBC and ITV1 regions using the Region maps or the My Freeview pages, the maps have a three-tone shade.

Bold shows areas that are exclusively in the region,
Normal is for the areas that are primarily in the region - where the strongest signal comes from an analogue transmitter in that region.
Light is for the areas which can receive a signal from the region's transmitters, but where the primary signal is from another region.
