Save up to 700 pounds a year on your TV costs
There are plenty of ways you can save money by switching to free digital television.
If you have Sky
As long as you have completed twelve months since you first joined Sky, you can leave with immediate notice.If you have the full Sports and Movies package, you will be paying 564 a year. If you are happy to just have the fSfS (Freesat from Sky) package, you can save a large amount of money.
When you cancel with Sky, you can also swap out your Digibox for a high definition Freesat box, available from many high street stores.
The same applies if you are paying to view channels using a "multiroom". Going for fSfS or Freesat on your second or third TV will save 120 a year on each.
If you have Sky+, there will be Freesat+ boxes out soon one payment and lots of Freesat channels. Otherwise Freeview+ is an option if you can get Freeview.
If you have Sky HD, you pay an additional 120 a year for this. Freesat provides HD channels for no charge.

If you are using Virgin Media
If you are taking your TV from Virgin Media, you might want to use Freeview or Freeview+. With the same range of channels as the basic Virgin Media, Freeview can easily fitted to all your TV sets, from as little as 20 per set.Get rid of your television

You need a TV Licence if you have any device that can watch live TV, including online. It is NOT required for TV that is not live.
