The first analogue TV switch off will take place on Thursday of this week, with BBC TWO being taken from the analogue airwaves in the "Border" region.

Bonchester Bridge, Clovenfords, Eyemouth, Galashiels, Hawick, Innerleithen, Jedburgh, Lauder, Peebles, Selkirk, Stow, Yetholm

This will see Freeview multiplex 1 - expanded to 64QAM mode - broadcast in the region.

Interestingly, FIVE will appear on BBC Freeview multiplex B on Thursday 20th November.

This mirrors the channel being allocated a slot on the BBC Freesat transponder (multiplex) 45, taking the place of the BBC News channel (10773MHz Horizontal, 22.5, 5/6), which is really nice of Auntie to let FIVE have a slot...
