Graham : Yes! as all you require to do apart from making sure of the alignment, is to fit it with a new LNB, which to be prudent as far as future additional equipment is concerned (e.g: Freesat twin tuner PVR) should really be a quad version, something which can be purchased complete with arm adaptors (if necessary) for under £10.00 from a variety of e-bay sellers.

H Yates: You don't need an amplifier, you need to move the aerial from the loft to the roof.

Graham: I don't think Sky have moved and Freesat uses the same satellite group as Sky so you shouldn't need to realign the dish. You will probably need a new LNB but you could try the existing cable first and only change it if you have problems or if its very easy to replace

Neil: Unless the dish has not been used since 2003, it will be already pointing at the correct satellite cluster.

Neil: Yes quite correct Neil, as many people including myself, use quad blocks to feed a normal Sky box on one of the outputs, and Freesat devices (TV / PVR's) on the other three.

Hi, I have just got a tv with built in freeview, got an amplified indoor aerial but getting no signal/channels at all? Can anyone help, I don't know what I'm doing (or not doing!!)

kat: Unfortunately not be aware of your whereabouts makes it difficult to provide an answer to your query, as checking the Freeview reception possibilities for your area cannot be done without a post code being given, these in most cases being an approximate location anyway and "not" pin pointing a persons residence.

judd.i have two set top boxs and four tv s how do i get them to work have good reception so thats not a problem just want to run 2 tvs on one box or all on one box help?

ok, further to my previous post it appears i no longer have acces to anything that has been moved to MUX B or C in the retune at Tacolneston (cant spell it lol) I received perfect reception on absolutely every freeview channel up until the retune on the 17th and now every channel i watch or listen to is unavailable. Im getting an average of signal intensity 85% on both MUX's but 0% signal quality. This is not a technical issue at my end as im very clued in with my setup. Why havent the B and C mux been allocated more transmission power? I have checked the signal data at the top of this page and remarkably enough it says that both B and C are below average and D is poor but i can pick up D fine. I need to know whats going on as im seriously thinking about talking to CAB about this. Thanks
