For the last six years, I have answered many thousands of personal emails that you have sent to UK Free TV.
Sadly, I am unable to offer this personal service at the moment.
Until I can restore this service, please can you leave any questions you have on an appropriate page, where they will be answered as soon as possible, or below, if you can't figure out where to ask.
I look forward to your questions!

Briantist: Quite right! TV's are basically screens, designed to feed things to them, and even the sound outputs have changed a bit.
In fact, until I found this page I have a tv with built in freeview.
how do I connect them up to tape
from the freeview channel watching the 1-5 channels. | ukfree.tv - 11 years of independent, free digital TV advice a while back, I'd no idea you could use the TV's tuner to output at all. Why you'd want to in this modern world is another question.

I live in RM12 district. Get excellent Freeview reception all channels except the latest HD programmes on UHF channel 33. This typically gives signal strength 45-75% and quality 0-10%. All other channels get 100% quality and 96-98% strength.
Any Ideas.

Alan Mason: They're on lower power which would explain why the strength is lower!

Thank you Ian & jb38.
As I said in my initial post; I use the Sandy Heath Tx. I am located in March Cambridgeshire. I found that all the 4 channels were missing so I did as you suggested - Factory Reset. That has fixed it thank you very much. It was not actually a full factory reset because some recordings on the hard drive were still there after the reset.

Ron Hammond: Please to see that the reset procedure mentioned has enabled you to rectify the problem.
By the way, the only reason for a post code having been requested is because it enables access to information such as the reception predictors as well as a more detailed version of the terrain indicator of the ground levels between the transmitter and a persons location, as some types of problems can be experienced if the line-of-sight is obstructed and simply knowing an area that a person resides in is not really accurate enough.

lucy lilley: That's maybe so, but the UK covers a large area therefore its essential to know where a person is located, this preferably being given in the form of a post code or one from somewhere nearby, e.g: a shop / Post office etc.
