Joe: Yes you can add channels, but they don't have access to the interactive services.

We have a HD digital TV and went digital at the changeover eatlier this month(April. We do not get ITV4 or ITV3. Is this because we need a new type of aerial? we have a great reception on the channels that we do receive. kind regards JR

Hi
I have an alba ALDTR160 digital tv recorder which i bought in December 2010. Everything is working ok except the remote control unit has stopped controlling the unit. I can work the unit manually ok.
I bought another handset with new batteries but it is still not working.
Is there a way to tune the handset to the unit or do you think that the unit is faulty in not recieving a signal from the handset?

steve: No "tuning" is required (or indeed possible), so I would expect the receiver sensor is damaged, yes.

paul: It could be a number of things, the LNB could be faulty or the dish is not pointing at the satellites correctly.

I think I may have posted this query on the wrong page :-)

I've normally been able to get all mux 2 channels on my built in freeview decoder without problem from Emley Moor. Over the last couple of days they've become intermittent and today, non existant.

Nothing else has changed.
