Sheffield transmitter - DIGITAL changes on Wednesday 17th March 2010

If you use the Freeview on Sheffield TV transmitter you will need to perform a rescan of your channels on Wednesday 17th March 2010.

Multiplex 1 (BBC One, BBC Two, BBC three, BBC News and CBBC) moves from C39 to C63.

A simple "Add channels" scan will NOT be sufficient. This may result in channels being allocated the wrong numbers.

Click here for "generic" instructions on retuning a Freeview box, recorder or set.

Click here for a list of manuals and retuning guides for a wide range of equipment.

This is being done to allow Freeview HD to be broadcast from the Emley Moor transmitter.
