Two new DAB transmitters came on air recently.

On Saturday the Tully Quarry transmitter, which serves Ballymena and the surrounding area came on air, improving coverage between Belfast and Maddybenny More - adding about 35,000 people to the DAB netowrk.

Today the Littleborough transmitter now provides DAB coverage to Rochdale and Littleborough, about 13,000 people with new coverage and improvements for 270,000 more.



Three more DAB transmitters are expected this week, another one of those in Northern Ireland.
