A new transmitter, located at the junction of the M22 and M26 motorways brings BBC national DAB coverage to North Kent, Surrey and London.

133,000 people will have DAB coverage for the first time, and an estimated 7,600,000 will have much improved DAB reception.

In particular, this means in-car DAB coverage for the M25 junctions J1A-J7 and J27-J30 will now be stable.

The transmitter is located at what was once designated the south eastern starting point of Ringway 4.
