Can I get German channels on Sky Digital (like it was on analog Sky)?
No, I am afraid not. You will need to have your dish pointing at the Astra 1 satellites to receive the German services.
The UK transmissions are on the Astra 2 satellites in a different position in the sky.

D Evans: The Digital UK postcode checker suggests that you could be using either The Wrekin or Sutton Coldfield, both of which underwent frequency changes on 7th March although the frequencies used for the BBC and ITV/C4 services don't appear to have changed at either transmitter. Does your TV have a manual tuning function? If it does, try manually tuning on UHF channels 23 & 26 if you're using The Wrekin or 43 & 46 if you're using Sutton Coldfield.
