Is there any way to recieve American TVprograming in Europe?

The programmes that are shown on the US networks (ABC/Disney, NBC, Fox) and satellite channels are sold in series or in packages of series to the European broadcasters at an annual event. This means that programmes can end up on both free-to-air and subscription channels in Europe.

You can bypass this whole system by downloading these programmes direct from the USA, see this example:

Good places to look are www.isohunt.com and (for UK programmes) www.uknova.com

Some networks are planning to allow direct downloads of their programmes very soon, and UK free will be listing these when they are available (under a "watch now" page).
