The problem could be one of:

- the aerial has been moved or damaged;

- the cables or connectors that connect the digibox to the aerial are damaged;

- the digibox has broken.

If you have a "spare" digibox you use this to test the aerial connection. Can you still watch analogue TV OK?

Alec Clarke: With regards to your 4.44pm posting and comments made therein, as you are located at just under 20 miles away from Winter Hill and reside in a ground floor flat then I think it hardly likely that you would be able to receive a signal of any sort from that station using an indoor aerial irrespective of what type it may be, and so a blue screen with a no signal warning is something that's not entirely unexpected therefore should not be considered as being unusual.

I am on Waltham transmitter, post code is NG24 3NT.
I have three receivers, all have problems with bbc stations, no signal strength no quality.
Other stations received OK.
Have you any idea what could be causing this.
HD freeveiw received OK.
I have retuned all three receivers.

Ian Sutcliffe: Is there a Sky box in your set-up which feeds its output to the three TVs via an analogue signal and is it set on or near to UHF channel 49 which is the new channel for BBC services from Waltham?

Have you confirmed that your TVs are tuned to UHF channel 49 for BBC One? Do this by viewing the signal strength screen.

I have a Goodmans TV with build in freeview. Over the last few weeks I seem to have started getting problems. My TV guide still lists all the channels but some of them have "no signal" So i do autotune and the signal returns BUT when I turn my tv off and back on, again certain channels such as e4+1 and bbc 3 have no signal again... again with an autotune the problem is resolved until i turn the tv off again... and so on.

Its a really annoying problem having to autotune my tv every time i turn it on. Any help would be great.

Susan Elaine: Signals are better at roof level which is why a roof top aerial is best.
