Yes, you can connect as many as you like.

sylvia crawley: The problem referred to is more inclined to point to the new? Humax box being defective rather than anything else, the device in question possibly requiring a software update in order to rectify the situation, as Humax boxes can occasionally suffer from lock ups.
If your Humax has been purchased as a brand new device, try it out for a week or so to see if the problem happens again, as it might iron itself out after using it for a few days, if though it doesn't, return it to the retailer as a defective item and requesting a replacement, as Humax devices are basically one of the best brands around, I myself having three of them, albeit one being a Freesat model.
By the way, although I cant swear by it, but I think I recall seeing this model mentioned in the software "over air" download list within the last two weeks, although it isn't for this week.

The box that was fitted on to the side of my aerial pole was damaged by bad weather just before Christmas and I can't get anything on my tv. This box was fitted free at the time when it was changeover. Who do I contact to get it fixed?

J.Vasanthen: The box on the aerial pole is probably a masthead amplifier. You would need to call out an aerial installer if you can't safely access it yourself.

I have a freeview TV in my bedroom the aerial running off a splitter downstairs from the main aerial. I've just been given a recorder which has a scart lead which my TV also has. Do I have to connect the recorder by the scart lead and the aerial?

Carol Benge:
Normally, you'd plug the aerial into the recorder, then use a "flylead" to connect the TV aerial socket to the recorder's TV aerial output. The scart lead is also used to enable the playback of recordings on the TV. You'd select that input on the TV when you want to do that.
