From Wikipedia: The channel had been available from launch on UPC Ireland, but was pulled on 22 March 2006. The channel had already been and remains available to Irish viewers on free-to-air satellite for some time, however it has not been listed in the Sky electronic programme guide since its removal on 25 January 2006. ITV3 took its channel number and bandwidth meaning all platforms could be launched simultaneously. - en.wikipedia.org read more about ITV3 on wikipedia (summary by Clipped).

Jane: If you are using the Waltham transmitter the frequency for MuxA which carries ITV3 was changed to C29 on 30th March 2011. You will need to clear the channel list (do a factory reset) and rescan for channels. This will also be required on 13th April 2011 when Mux2 changes to C31 affecting ITV1&2, Channel4 etc.

jeanette ward: According to the Digital UK postcode checker if you receive signals from the Wenvoe transmitter you will be able to receive Mux SDN which carries ITV3 after 27th April 2011 when this mux changes to C42+ at high power. If you use the Ebbw Vale relay however this is unlikely ever to transmit the COM muxes as the owners of the muxes decided that it was not economically viable to increase the number of transmitters beyond the original 81 Freeview sites.

We used to get intermittant interference with ITV 3 and could sometimes not get it at all, especially at the weekends. Now that we are coming up to switchover (Anglia region, based in Peterborough PE3 7LG), I have retuned due to BBC2 being turned off, and we cannot get ITV3 at all! It is not on the list! We are on Freeview, new equipment, with a new digital aerial installed by the helpscheme. Any help would be good.

Hello, Sorry there seems to be too much information for this poor brain to assimilate. I had a warning that the Wenvoe transmitter was goint to do something or other on the 27th April 2011. I lost ITV3 at midnight on that date and despite a retune have been unable to get it back. Have I lost it forever? I don't know if any other channels have been affected. My post code is CF24 2DS. Many thanks for your help if available.

Maureen McKinlay: Nothing happened to ITV3 (multiplex A) on that date. You need to this: My Freeview box has no EPG, is blank on FIVE, ITV3, ITV4, ITV2+1, has no sound or the channel line up is wrong | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice .

Maureen McKinley: Brian is wrong, all three commercial multiplexes moved to their final locations this morning.
You need to do a factory reset, also called a first-time installation or a default setting, on your box, to ensure that it isn't remembering the old location for the channels and ignoring the new one. Do whatever you did when Wenvoe originally switched over at the end of March last year.
