How to Watch: Made in Tyne and Wear

Below is a list of all the television and radio channels that you can watch in the UK using one of the free services: DAB (for radio), Freeview, Sky No Card - Sky without a viewing card (Freesat from Sky (or fSfS)) and Freesat.. Where a channel can be watched for free, the channel number is listed below. In addition, if you can watch (or listen) immediately online, press the button in the "web" column.

As some channels are exclusive to one service alone, you may need to get receive more than one service to get all the channels you want. The coverage for Freeview differs too - those channels not provided by the public service "Freeview Light" transmitters the current coverage shown thus (54%), taken from Connected Nations Report 2017: Data analysis'

LOL turfed out a small tv with freeview from a bedroom cupboard. updated and came across a loop of pictures on channel 8 supplied by Jack Fisher Made In Tyne & Wear.
Wonderful time lapse photography. Many of them as the crow flies from my home !.

Now waiting with baited breath for 22nd September 2014, when Made in Tyne and Wear will be a TV channel.

At last a local television station again . its been a long time , i can"t wait .
Funny as well that your new channel is on position eight , like the other independent station originally transmitted on from Burnhope .

I think your film on the station is showing Sunderland in a very poor light compared to Newcastle/Gateshead. Why show run down areas when you could have shown Nissans world class car plant, the Glass Centre, the Marina, Sunderland City Centre and other redeveloped areas. Also Sunderland are in the premier league and there was no shot of the Stadium of Light. Apart from the above I do wish your channel in the launch of your new channel. Regards John Mcguire

David Garside : Although I cannot see anything mentioned with regards to viewing this programme on Freesat, but though, a starting date of Dec1st on Sky channel 117 has been.

Thanks JB38. If I can get the sky frequency I should be able to tune the Freesat box in..assuming it's not going to be s subscription chan. Hopefully sky 117 will not be local ( to the south) and gives the northern programme I'm after....fingers crossed.
