Do you receive the local channels on LCN 7 or 8? If you do then you should be getting those Sony channels as they are now only broadcast on the local multiplexes. Not all transmitters provide those services. If you provide a full post code we can loom up whether your transmitter does provide those. Or you could put your full post code into the digital UK Coverage Checker at About us | Freeview select the detailed view press Go and the scroll to the bottom of the listing to see the local channels - if any.

The post before yours answers your question! If you are not receiving a Local Multiplex from the transmitter you get your signals, then you won't get LCN 48, which in any event Sony have renamed "The Sony Channel"
As you appear to have mistyped the postcode we can't tell which transmitter you may be getting. If you try again with the postcode and also tell us which direction your aerial is pointing in, and whether the rods are horizontal or vertical (you may be able to get more than one transmitter and not all have a local multiplex), then we can try a check.

I was typing a reply before seeing your corrected post. We need to know which way your aerial is pointing - if it's pointing approx. SSE (164 degrees) with the rods horizontal, which is Emley Moor, you should have no trouble getting all multiplexes.
If it's pointing roughly NW (318 degrees) with the rods vertical, then it'll be Keighley, which case it only transmits PSBs1-3 & COMs4-6. No COMs7&8 or Local mux.
For channels on the various multiplexes, see Channel listings | Freeview however I would point out that at time of posting this, that list has not been corrected for the move of Film4+1 (LCN45) from the D3&4 mux to ArqA (COM5), and More4+1 (LCN86) from BBCB/PSB3 to COM7, both of which took place on Nov.5th. I might also point out as well that E4+1 is changing on 14th Nov. however Channel 4 and Freeview haven't bothered to provide any detail about what it is, they are just saying "retune" !
