Is STV+1 on Freesat yet, if so, what LC number?
(I'm using an AB10 postal code - STV is on LC 103)

I have STV+1 on 'Non-Freesat Channels' (Grundig SD STB), have I to delete this for STV+1 to appear on Freesat? *

Is this also why I can only receive the STV (North) version; no other version will appear on 'Non-Freesat Channels', though other versions of Ch4 do appear?

*[Granada+1, Meridian S+1, STV+1 (W) on 10906 V; I have not tried 10891 H]

Can anyone confirm that STV+1 in Grampian/ STV North region is now on Freesat?
I have done an initial installation again; still no sign of it, though it is on non-Freesat channels - I now do have the 2 other versions of STV on non-Freesat which heretofore I never had, also it has cured the inability to set the time reminder (ie preset change channels) function.

Yes, I know, but do folk in the STV North area get STV West +1 on Freesat, or as I, have to get it as a non-Freesat channel?

Well then, at least one Freesat STB is not working properly.
Is there anyone else in STV North with a Grundig GUFSAT02SD box who can confirm that it does not receive STV+1 as a Freesat channel, or is it just my box which is faulty?

Honest John, did you mean postal code BH14 or BN14?
If it be BH14, you are certainly not receiving Winter Hill from near Brighton.

Richard Paskin: No one seems to have made any reply to you, so here goes.
It looks to me that the Sagem is having the same problems with 8K mode with other channels' 2K mode.
See also jb38 7 Aug. 08:10 above:
"The point is that although the zero indication on your Samsung's manual scan could be because of it having a problem in responding to Ch22's 8K operating mode ..."

Otherwise make sure you have done a full retune, first time installation', 'factory reset' or whatever Sagem call it. This will be particularly important as it is still using Ch. 22.
As a matter of interest, is Belmont the best transmitter for east of Buxton? I was quite surprised - expected Emley Moor, Sheffield, or even Winter Hill.

Jackie Jackson - re Philips DT1500 - I too have had problems in the past when resetting. It's a while ago now, but if I remember the instructions re LEDs were slightly inaccurate. Try again, and remember it takes much longer that you might expect for the LEDs to change.

Emley Moor (Kirklees, England) transmitter

Leigh

There is no sign of C47 here in Leigh - on the edge of Emley Moor 'green on the map' area, using my small Emley M. aerial (a Multibeam MBM18) + amplifier. BBC 1 EM Analogue is fine, BBC 2 was always weaker. Looks as if I shall turn the aerial round to Moel-y-Parc; not much advantage using EM now I have Freesat.
I have not been able to try the large EM aerial (MBM46) yet (really needs new a STB with modulator for the old Sony 1300UB).

Should have said YTV was always weaker, of course.
