I am miles away from the transmitter but only recently have lost Ch59, well not completely, my PVR and a STB have lost it, but the TV is still receiving it perfectly despite the aerial being at the end of the daisy-chain via the other two. Might rig up an aerial amplifier tomorrow and see what happens.

Mendip (Somerset, England) Full Freeview transmitter

I found that if I first deleted anything shown as Ch59 and then rescanned Ch67 only, it restored all the missing programmes without putting any in the high number range. The move of Arq B/Com6 from 59 to 67 was not well published and presumably 'do a rescan' was thought to suffice.

Mendip (Somerset, England) Full Freeview transmitter

@Charles Pochin: I am just down the road from you and I receive Mendip with 100% quality on all Muxes. Stockland Hill is nearer, but there are hills in the way and it is only a relay station. I can also pick up signals from the Wenvoe transmitter.

Brian could you elaborate on LCNs 110 to 112 please, are they for internet TV or what?

How strange, I live on the fringe of the reception area (according to the map) and have had excellent reception all week. Could it be that Alison Armshaw is getting a signal which is too strong since the power was upped?

@Lordgeous, if as you say "this has to be an intermittent transmitter problem", then how come I get near perfect uninterrupted reception from the Mendip transmitter?

All you people blaming the transmitter for no signal should be aware that I personally have had no interruptions to the Mendip signal here down in Taunton so it must be something else.

@Bruce, without some local knowledge, geographic conditions, normal signal strength, signal quality, etc., I am unable to give an answer, sorry, but all I can say is what is not at fault.

@chloe, I live in Taunton and the retune went without a hitch, I have all the BBC channels, including radio, which eliminates the transmitter end. This suggests it is either a settings problem with your equipment or a frequency effect due possibly to some geographical feature such as building reflections.
