One of my freeview boxes would not place the channels in there correct order even after a factory reset, I solved the problem by scanning the box with aerial disconnected after factory reset then scan normally with aerial connected.

Adding to my last post, this also solved a problem on a 3 year old Technica that refused to tune anything in after factory reset. Same trick worked.

jb38/Paul. I live in WD7 a few miles from WD17 and the signal strength here is sufficient for me to use my pocket freeview tv with its built in rod aerial of about 10 cm, I have a feeling a few people in this area will be having problems with signal overloading judging by some aerial installations I've seen on roofs here, some of the aerials look like they would be suitable for receiving tv from Mars not a transmitter 20 odd miles away.

Not having any problems with freeview HD here in Radlett. Can't understand why your having problems with ITV1HD as all HD channels are on the same mux.

John in Hook.
I'm surprised you are not using Hannington transmitter, I have family in that part of the country and all are on Hannington with no problem.

Big Mart. I live about 33 kilometers/ 19 miles from Crystal Palace and have had neighbours with over load problems. Mostly due to having massive aerials installed, here in Radlett I can receive stable freeview pictures on a set top aerial pointed out of my window (done as a test) also I've used a pocket tv with a rod outside with no problems., my neighbours with basic contract 8/18 element aerials seem to have no problems.
