I was just going by the maps above.
But thinking about it, all the places I have mentioned are in direct line of Brighton over the sea.
Unless there are any mountines made of sea water I can't see why they won't get a siginal from Brighton.

The browser you usually use will display the above links and the other one will not.

You can only get the US news channels free in the UK.
Bloomberg Television
CNBC Europe
CNN International
The ABC entertainment channel closed down a few years ago.
The following channels are encrypted on Sky and not free;
Fox News Channel
and a number of kids channels;
Nickelodeon, Disney, Disney XD

You can also get the UK version of BBC America.
We call it BBC 1.

You will need to point your dish at a satellite that is transmitting the French or German stations.
You will only be able to view the stations that are NOT encrypted.
See LyngSat for list of channels, frequencies, if they are encrypted and which satellite transmits them.
You must also be in the satellite footprint.

A quick look at your post on 22/07/2011 at 8:16am.
Looks like very few places will get anything more than the BBC multiplex
and big towns like Eastbourne, Worthing and Selsey near Bognor Regis won't get any stations.
Just hope they don't close FM analogue before everybody can get digital.
