Gerry maguire:

If the reception is fine upto the outlet then you have either an issue with the coax cable or your tv/digi box.

Also, you may have too much signal or not enough. tuners can react differently to signal, you may have a tv with a poor tuner.

susan rushton:

An indoor aerial will not run a sky box.

Indoor aerials only run Freeview, but not very well.

To run a sky box you need a cable from the sky dish.

If you are looking to run a Freeview box you will need to connect a cable to an outdoor aerial.

PS

If you had read Ofcom report, the moving of DTT will result in only 9% of people needing an aerial upgrade and those will probably only be DIY installs

MARK

hi,

I have checked your location and all aerials in your road are pointing to hannington.

The reception you are receiving from there must be marginal for you to be picking up other transmitters from time to time.

Without seeing your install and knowing the spec of it and age, I would suggest for an aerial to work in your location you need a high gain aerial possibly fitted with a notch filter which will filter our transmission being received from unwanted locations such as Rowridge,

regards

Jamie.

How do I change the RF output channel on a Sky Digibox? | Help!

Simon:

you may need to retune the analogue on your tv to pickup the sky picture.

The rf on sky boxes are defaulted to channel 68, if you old box was set to a different channel then this is why you would have no picture.

Whilst you are doing this I would suggest you change the channel from 68 on the sky box as this will be used for 4G.

it will depend which transmitter you use as to which will be the best to change it to. But it will definitely need to be below 59.
