raymond harris: I'm very aware as to what the mains adapter was...since I read the instructions! It would perhaps be helpful if you did the same.

K watts: Put your postcode into the site and it will bring up your transmitter. But realistically, its your system.

Mendip (Somerset, England) Full Freeview transmitter

Bill McDonald: Your 33km from Mendip, which carries both muxes, so you should be totally fine, so I'd check if you are actually tuned to Mendip at all.

BTW - why would you need two aerials?

Agnes Harley:
a) BT broadband has zero to do with you TV reception
b) If the transmitter had a problem, then someone would have noticed it after 7 weeks.

Almost certainly your aerial system is at fault - get someone to look at it.

Pam: Frankly, a lot of people are envious of you having fibre in a village location. You can do a test for your broadband speed, and that will probably tell you if your actually getting fibre, or just ask BT. Its not unknown for BT to sell a package without telling you if you can get it because of the limitations of the exchange, etc, but if your getting say 25mb then you are certainly on fibre and thus you will be able to get their infinity service, including streaming 4k.

Brian: Because you live in an area with very few people and commercial channels are just that - commercial. Something thats been pointed out endlessly on this thread if you'd read it.

So they dont think you worth broadcasting to. If you want more, get Freesat.

Thanet (Kent, England) DAB transmitter

Peterborough

David: Firstly, why have you posted something about TV in a DAB section?
next - you havn't bothered with a postcode, so we have no idea what sevice you should get. And you might have a poor setup.
And if you really had a 50's TV service you'd only have 2 channels, which I bet you dont. About 7% of the UK population chant get the full range of services, and that because commercial channels cant be bothered - your not worth it.

If you cant get the full range, just go for Freesat.

Bill McDonald: Why dont you ask your neighbours? If they can get those muxes and you cant, then that points to your equipment.
