Let's hope the increased power doesn't mean it catches fire again.

When are High (Chepping) Wycombe residents going to get a decent Freeview transmitter?
My sister lives in High Wycombe, and she says the coverage is abysmal.

Phil Smith: The bottom right hand corner of Internet Explorer 8 has the option to increase or decrease the Zoom. Or use Ctrl+ or Ctrl- using the keyboard.

I think UHF Channel 36 is most often used by SKY & Video boxes. Will this channel be used in the future for TV or mobile phone use? Thus messing up any home use of this channel to pipe Sky to other rooms at home.

Briantist: But as Jim's Aerial's says - "VCRs are often pre-set to channel 36 for their UHF output"
Jim's Aerials - TV Distribution
Also SCART to UHF boxes only output on Channel 36.
UHF Modulator Only £20.42 at TVCables
C'est la vie.

Briantist: Thanks. Who's going to tell Jim that?

I've read that the White Space between 400MHz and 800MHz will be used for Local Broadband and MiFi.

UK start-up uses TV's white spaces for broadband | Networking | ZDNet UK

Will this interfere with Freeview reception? Or will it be lower power and squashed between the TV frequencies? (LU74HH)

Just returned home from holiday, retuned as advised, lost countless channels (inc ITV1, Ch4, Ch5) can't wait for 24th to retune again.
Finger's crossed eh?

I have had NO signal from Mux2 (Chan.68) since the 14th September changes. They must be on even lower power than before. BBCA on Chan. 53 is a high signal with good quality. Other MUXs are very weak and are unwatchable. Still, only 2 days to go to analogue switch-off. Pity some of the MUXs left will only be a quarter of the final switch-over power. I hope that's good enough to get some sort of watchable TV.
