Sorry meant to reply to your post a day ago. The transmitter isn't currently listed for Planned Engineering nor can I find any faults recently listed.
It's never a good idea to rescan/retune when you have pixellated pictures or no signal as most times this will just clear the correct tuning and you'll have to repeat the retune when signals improve.
There has been some weather related interference around which may have briefly affected your signal - it won't always affect all multiplexes, it could be just one or two as a result of interference from more distant transmitters.
Is your signal back to normal now? The FY6 postcode area is quite large and reception may vary across it, but a lot of the area is not predicted to get good reception of COM7, it can be variable, but without a full postcode we can't confirm the predicted reception in your locale.

DAB Ensembles WorldWide | UK Local & Small-Scale lists the transmitters carrying the Bradford/Huddersfield option.
There is reporting online at Radio Leeds - Listen Live - BBC Sounds but no live coverage.

There could be a multitude of reasons why you might have (had?) problems receiving ITV. Are you still having the issue?
Reasons could be a transmitter fault (possibly fixed), weather conditions causing interference from other transmitters, some locations in your area can receive more than one transmitter, reception from some can be very variable and you may not be tuned to the best or have become tuned to the wrong one, or possibly some obscure fault with your installation.
If you are still having problems, we need a full postcode to look at the predicted reception in your locale and which transmitter(s) and multiplexes you might receive. Also roughly which way your aerial is pointing eg. NW, ENE, WSW, etc. and whether the aerial rods (or squashed Xs) are vertical or horizontal?

Hmm, indeed! It will of course depend on that big unknown, was there some unlisted engineering continuing that was the cause, or was it weather related? There's still some "tropo" lurking about which might affect you over the next 24hrs or so.

An alternative would be a Group K aerial, this should also help reduce any interference from any new mobile masts which may appear in due course. As you are only 16km from Llanddona predictions show you should have very good reception.

You have posted on the Wharfedale (Light) transmitter page - it only broadcasts the 3 main PSB mutliplexes, and no commercial ones - but you are not predicted to receive it in the postcode you have provided.
The Freeview Coverage checker suggests that your most likely transmitter is Bilsdale where you should have had excellent reception, and if so and your aerial points slightly N of NE (bearing 31 degrees and rods horizontal) and you have no reception since the fire at the transmitter, then reads all the posts and updates on the Bilsdale transmitter page.
As I'm sure you know this transmitter covers the Tyne Tess region. Arqiva in their latest update hope that reception will be returned to remaining areas by the 28th August by a temporary mast.
If however you'd prefer the Yorkshire region instead, then you are predicted to get very good reception from the Emley Moor transmitter, but your aerial would need to point in almost the opposite direction at bearing 193 degrees - slightly W of due S. BUT you may need the advice of a professional aerial installer who knows the area (one who's been recommended by someone you know or who is CAI registered) as predictors aren't always 100% and there maybe local obstructions to the signal.

AFAIK and can find out, there's no engineering or faults at Kilvey Hill and the BBC haven't reported anything in the last 5 days affecting their channels.
There has been however, some "Tropospheric Ducting" around periodically in recent times which causes signals from more distant transmitters (both in the UK and Europe) to travel further than normal. See

for some simplistic explanations.
This could be an issue over the next few days.
Now, signals also travel quite readily across water and unfortunately there is a transmitter in North Devon at Carhampton that shares the 3 same UHF channels for its PSB multiplexes as Kilvey Hill. This (IMHO) was bad planning by Arqiva/OFCOM and it came to light during the 700MHz Clearance program in 2019.
If you've also happened to have retuned, there are also several other N.Devon transmitters you may get under such conditions.
So check again that your aerial points at Kilvey Hill and the aerial rods (or squashed Xs) are Vertical. Check in your TV's tuning section that your are correctly tuned to Kilvey Hill's UHF channels which are -
C21, C24, C27, C25, C22, C28 in the order BBCA/PSB1, D3&4/PSB2, BBCB HD/PSB3, SDN/COM4, ArqA/COM5, ArqB/COM6.
If all that is correct and you still have problems , then try turning your aerial slightly so it's not pointing at N.Devon as much (I cant suggest which way as you haven't given a full postcode so I'd know your direction for Kilvey Hill!).

.gov have just announced that the other multiplex licences can be extended to 2034
Future of channels such as ITV2 and Dave secured as Freeview licences renewed for another decade - GOV.UK
But apparently the BBC have yet to confirm if they would apply for renewal of the licence for it's HD multiplex (BBCB HD/PSB3) until it became clearer what the role of the multiplex would be !!
That strikes me that people might want to write to the BBC and tell them - IMHO it should be more HD channels on Freeview, not even contemplating less!
