If you've noticed the absolute mess they've made with various aspects of amalgamating the DigitalUK site into the Freeview site as well as other changes to the Freeview site, then you won't be surprised about the lack of any clue regarding the EIT and NIT errors. This isn't my field, but wouldn't the NIT errors be down to Arqiva rather than DUK?

They have moved multiplexes, did you not get a screen pop-up telling you to retune or that your programme mapping had changed? See Service updates | Freeview

You need to retune at least your BBCB, D3&4, ArqA & COM7 multiplexes.

Beverley:

We cannot tell which transmitter you are receiving from a partial postcode. There is Planned Engineering at 3 of the main transmitters in your region this week with "Possible weak signal". We can't tell you yet whether any of that will continue next week.

Emley Moor (Kirklees, England) transmitter

Hi John,

Apart from LCN56 the other missing LCNs you listed are COM7 ;)
I don't know how your box works, but depending on the order you went through the UHF channels, you might find the "duplicates" up in the 800s.

Don't forget that there's a good chance you'll lose COM8 from Bilsdale on the 13th when it moves to UHF56 according to the predicted reception, and COM7 moving to 55 is predicted to get flakey.

My thanks to StevensOnln1 for pointing that out as I completely overlooked the fact St.Bees is a "Light" transmitter when I replied in a bit of a rush this morning :(

Whether or not you can get any reception from Caldbeck will depend on your precise postcode location. A cursory check suggests you might, but COMs4-6 reception may not be the most reliable. Can't be certain without a full postcode and if you are down in a bit of a dip that won't help. In any event Caldbeck doesn't transmit COMs 7&8 and you'd need a change of aerial if you don't have a wideband (which you might need in any event in Q2 (Apr - Jun) 2020 when St. Bees multiplexes move channels, but you may be able to get free help with that if you don't' have Cable or Satellite.

Steve:

The post before yours answers your question! If you are not receiving a Local Multiplex from the transmitter you get your signals, then you won't get LCN 48, which in any event Sony have renamed "The Sony Channel"

As you appear to have mistyped the postcode we can't tell which transmitter you may be getting. If you try again with the postcode and also tell us which direction your aerial is pointing in, and whether the rods are horizontal or vertical (you may be able to get more than one transmitter and not all have a local multiplex), then we can try a check.

Steve:

I was typing a reply before seeing your corrected post. We need to know which way your aerial is pointing - if it's pointing approx. SSE (164 degrees) with the rods horizontal, which is Emley Moor, you should have no trouble getting all multiplexes.
If it's pointing roughly NW (318 degrees) with the rods vertical, then it'll be Keighley, which case it only transmits PSBs1-3 & COMs4-6. No COMs7&8 or Local mux.

For channels on the various multiplexes, see Channel listings | Freeview however I would point out that at time of posting this, that list has not been corrected for the move of Film4+1 (LCN45) from the D3&4 mux to ArqA (COM5), and More4+1 (LCN86) from BBCB/PSB3 to COM7, both of which took place on Nov.5th. I might also point out as well that E4+1 is changing on 14th Nov. however Channel 4 and Freeview haven't bothered to provide any detail about what it is, they are just saying "retune" !

S Stoker:

Well, it seems that the transmitter came back on air at 1327hrs according to the BBC transmitter checker and it was "Off the air due to essential engineering". It also seems that Freeview haven't bothered to report the fact that it was off-air or the fact that there was Engineering Work!

John McAllister:

The transmitter should be back on air now. It seems that this is another transmitter with a fault that Freeview haven't bothered to mention. The multiplex BBC B HD was Off the air due to a fault, from 8:24am to 12:47pm on 8th Nov 2019.

Tony:

As per many posts around this site, the listing are not up-to-date. There's 1100+ transmitters in the UK and the site owner has not kept up with all the changes. There are LCN on some Multiplex changes as well.
See Channel listings | Freeview although at time of posting it has not been updated for the Film4+1 and More4+1 changes on Nov.5th.
