David Maers:

Please use the Digital UK website at Digital UK | Home for such details. The system on this website has not been maintained for some months due to the unavailability of the owner.

The transmitter information on these pages has not been updated for several months as the only person can do the update is not available. Use the information provided by the Digital UK Coverage Checker instead. You can find that at Digital UK - Coverage checker

We need a full post code so that we can see what the expected reception conditions are like at your location. Pixilation can be caused by either too much or too little signal or by outside intereference. That will also tell us which if the over 1100 transmitters you are using and hence what the current channels used for the multiplexes are.

Please check all your aerial connections and unplug and coaxial plugs/sockets and refit them to remove any corrosion/oxidation from the copntact sufaces.

I think you will find that the definition of a National service means the whole of the UK, so includes England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. As BBC Radio Scotland has a target audience in Scotland only it is not a National service.

Please provide a full posy code so that we can see the predicted reception at your location.

I presume you are talking about Freeview reception which is unrelated to the performance of your internet connection except when streaming using a 'smart' device. Freeview is broadcast over the air usin g UHF transmissions and it received by your aerial. So what equipment are you using?

Also check all your aerial connections to ensure the coaxial cables are in good condition and any coaxial plugs/sockets should be unplugged and then refitted to clear any possible corrosion/oxidation from the contacts.

Dave Aldridge:

Retuning will not resolve the type of issue you are experiencing, all it is likely to do is loose you some channels you still had! Please check all your aerial cables and connections for any damage or problems, Check all the coaxial plugs/sockets, including those at the back of the equipments, by unplugging and refitting. That will clear any possible corrosion/oxidation from the contacts which is a known cause of the problems such as you report.

Please also [rovide a full post code so we can examine the expected reception conditions at your location.

Mike Rowe:

Please make sure you are tuned to the Sandy Heath transmitter as others are potentially receivable at your location, though there would be problems such as you are experiencing. You can find the correct channels by looking at Coverage Checker - Detailed View and scro;;ing down to the listing for Sandy Heath. Also ensure that you are using a wideband aerial and not a 'grouped' type as used to be used before changes to the transmission channels earlier this year.

I would not rely on Facebook postings as they could well be unreliable and from people with little or no technical knowledge.

Mike Rowe:

This is not Pick's website and not the way to contact them. This website is intended to assist viewers having reception problems.

Pick is owned by Sky so contact them at www.sky.com.

David Postlethwaite:

To be able to offer any assistance we need you to provide a full post code. Only then can we see what the expected reception conditions are like at your location.

As we do not know where you are in relation to the transmitter, we have no way of telling what your signal level should be like. So please check you are tuned correctly to the relevant channels (for Kidderminster they are 32, 34 and 35 currently) and check that the signal levels are in the required range (you idealy need it to be between 60% and 85% for good reception, too little or too much will cause problems).
