Abbie:

You need to manually tune to the Hutton transmitter channels; 21, 24 & 27. You need to have Group A or T aerial with the small rods vertical.

Abbie:

Go to the Digital UK Covergae Checker at http://www.digitaluk.co.u…er/, put in yopur full post code and house name/number, select the Detailed View option then press Go.

Scroll down the reslting listings to your chosen transmitter and check what they suggest is the reception conditions. If all the bars are green then your reception should be good. If it is not then check all your aerial connections, unplugging any coaxial plugs/sockets and then refit them. Then check your signal strengths again. If they are below 60% then you may need to have your aerial checked in case it have moved perhaps.

Carole:

Firstly, you should not have retuned - that has lost the channels for you. Secondly, despite having had good results until recently, your old aerial will now not be suitable for reception od Freeviw signals fro Mendip. You need to have it changed for a wideband, Group T type to receive all the transmitted channels.

You may qualify for a free replacement aerial as long as you do not have cable or satellite and contact the Freeview Support helpline.

Chris Clegg:

It has been stated many times elsewhere on this website that True Entertainment is now only available on the local multiplexes where they are broadcast. Not every transmitter has a local service as there are no local TV station in all areas.

If you put your full post code and house name/number into the Digital UK Coverage Checker, select the Detailed View option and press Go you will see a listing of the transmissions available in your location. If there are no local services listed then you will not get True Entertainment. The change was decided by the broadcaster alone.

True Entertainment is now only transmitted on the local multiplexes if available. Caradon Hill does not transmit any local services so True Entertainment is not available.

STV is not a transmitter but a programme service aimed at Scottish viewers. If you give your full post code we can look up the corrct current UHF channels in use by the preferred transmitter in your locality.

Nigel :

It is not a problem with the transmitter. True Entertainment has been moved onto the local multiplexes where they are available. Malvern does not transmit any local services at all. The move was on behalf of the service owner, Sony.

The owner of this site has not yet had an aopportunity to update the site due to all the changes currently being made to all the over 1100 transmitters around the UK. If you want the up-to-date UHF channekl usage, go to the Digital UK Coverage Checker at http://www.digitaluk.co.u…er/, put in your full post code and house name/number, select Detailed View and press Go. Scroll down the listings to see the details for your chosen transmitter.
