The modulation does not affect the propagation conditions, but different methods of modulation will cope differently with the conditions.

DY I had a 2/h skybox that said it needed an upgrade - which never ended. Sky people said it was faulty.

TMC - more likely that there is either a fault with your new TV or you are not pressing the right buttons.
Are you sure it is digital?

Have you tried an internal aerial on the window sill pointing to the transmitter?

Mr JR did you try powercycling?
what happens if you change channels?
or press MENU ?
Sounds more like a local problem such as TV set to wrong input than bad signal.

David L - surely the hazard arises from the METHOD of using the airwaves forced upon us?
It is not innate. - eg with analogue.
Or different frequencies or modulation methods
