Does anybody have any idea when I will be able to get the rest of the freeview HD channels in Chippenham. I've only got 2 extra so far, BBC 3 HD and CBBC HD. Really looking forward to BBC 4 HD.

Does anybody ever think about the orchestras that the BBC runs; which all comes out of our licence fee. What about the last night of the proms. The BBC orchestras I can think of at present- Concert, National orchestra of Wales, Philharmonic, Scottish Symphony, BBC Singers, Big Band, Symphony Chorus. We mustn't forget either, the time and money put into the BBC R&D over the years...colour transmissions, Nicam sound, 5.1 sound which we now listen to, 3D; and now looking at UHD transmissions with the EBU. So its not just radio and tv watching and listening.

I live in Chippenham, Wiltshire. I get a very good signal from Mendip for my normal freeview . Could you tell me what the range of local tv is. I believe that Bristol will be my nearest.

As my wife and I live in a small house, we have to keep our TV in the corner of the room. Basically we always look at the screen at an angle and I can't imagine watching a curved screen in our room as we would miss the sides of the picture. Our present screen is a Samsung UE40D8000 and has an excellent off axis picture. I love the Oled screen picture but am waiting for a flat screen one and hopefully persuade my wife that it won't? take up a lot more room up if it is a 46inch one!

Not surprising really. ITV buys too many programmes in especially children's ones. SO many people moan about the BBC license fee but don't realise that they are paying for the independent channels in the extra prices in the goods that they buy. These ads on TV costs hundreds of thousands of pounds and the companies have to get it back from some where.

MikeB. Why doesn't ITV make some childrens programmes itself? I obviously don't watch CBBC or CBeebies myself but I know that Blue Peter is still running plus I see the trailers on BBC One with what looks like really exiting dramas.

I 'm sure I heard a little bird say that it was thought that BBC West was going HD, YES HD in 2015. Does anybody know if there's a grain of truth in this?

I would like to see 'Film Four' go HD. If not, could the spare? HD slot be used to change the 'Red Button' channel to HD.

I believe it would be great if Film4 would take over that slot IN HD.
