I have a high gain group B aerial and a 9dB mast-head amplifier. Once the remainder of the muxes go to full power, I'm hoping to remove the mast-head amplifier.
Could you try removing the combiner and feeding the Hannington aerial directly to your receiver?

tim: I also live in Fleet and I have a full set of channels from Hannington, including HD, all at a very good level.
I suspect that your aerial may be the wrong band and/or pointing in the wrong direction. Otherwise, there may be a problem with the downlead or connections.

I should add that I have a group B aerial feeding a 4-way passive splitter.
There are no boosters in my system, although I used to have a 4 output, 15dB mast-head amplifier in the loft, before DSO.

tim: My aerial is pointing West (276°).
Since Crystal Palace completed its switchover on April 18th, I have not seen any changes in signal.
I think that your cabling and/or connections are the likely causes of the problems you are seeing, as these can be affected by the weather.

That should read:

Will a retune be necessary for Beacon Hill where PSB1 moves only from C60+ to C60?

Hannington signal seems to have gone very low level this evening. It's caused a disk wipe (1TB) on my Topfield. :(

It's a known problem on Topfield PVRs. A signal causing break-up will often corrupt the disk.
I've just checked again and there's an almost usable ITV mux, but nothing on the others. If it's the same tomorrow, and no one else is having a problem, I'll check the cabling in the loft. Perhaps a squirrel has chewed it.

After some investigation in the loft, I found that water had got into the aerial cable, then run into the splitter and damaged it. So the transmitter (and squirrel) were blameless.
At least I've got plenty of space on the PVR disk now; who needs 200 crime dramas anyway?

Malcolm H: The reason that the Hannington channels are in the 800s is because your TV has found another transmitter's signal first, probably Crystal Palace. The solution is a manual scan, or an auto-scan with the aerial unplugged until the scan is past 35 (about 1/3 way through).
