Gary one last thing to try put a slight kink in the center core to make sure you get a good conection. You might also check the coax have you put it under carpet if so make sure the carpet grippers havent gone into the coax .

Gary the only thing to do is re check all plugs, and then switch the power off to rf2 save it then switch it back on. This is what i would do at a customers house you could have something realy silly wrong, if you carnt get it to work you might have to call out someone and pay there call out charge if you do dont use a 0800 number or a local number that you think isnt right they are paid for numbers and they are not local.

jmp: It all depends what you want the masthead for if it is for runing extra points they are great, if it is for improving poor signal due to very long coax and medium to poor signal they are ok if it is to improve just bad signal they dont work. If it is the latter you are better improving the signal with either a stronger aerial or moving aerial or you could just have a faulty aerial hope this helps

Jubaer: Here is a little note i carnt build a wall but i can put up a aerial because i have been doing it for over 25 years the price of an aerial is subject to where you live in the mersyside area i get £69 for an rx12 and £85 for an rx20 or an lp45 and i am on the expensive side for up here. Your best bet is go to some one local not just a mobile number hopefully with an address you know. The cheapest isnt allways the best. If your aerial isnt put up right it can go lose very quickley leading to brick damage. So use you builder to build you do your job and get the right man fir the job

eugat: Sky are great but they sometimes line the dish for signal strength not signal quality. If under 12 months get sky back to line it up better or get a local inderpendant this could help than only very heavy rain will affect it hope this helps
