Dave Lindsay: The "interim DTT panels" as shown on MB21 appear to me to be located on three sides of the mast - four on the left side, four on the right side, and four at the back (but these are somewhat hidden by the structure).

Obert Roliver:

AKA Robert Oliver perhaps? The same Robert Oliver as the Chairman of the CAI?
I see we also have Devlin Kawson (Kevin Dawson, CAI Training & Assessment Executive) and Jim Tenks (Tim Jenks, CAI Senior Executive) recently posting on here too.

Interesting that CAI executives are on here - does this improve the credibility of the CAI I wonder?

Laura: The aerial lead should be connected to the DVD aerial input.
You then need another coax cable to connect the aerial out socket to the TV's aerial input.
The SCART connection doesn't carry UHF signals (just video and audio).

Brian Fisher: Signal from Mendip should be good at your postcode, but aerial will need to be horizontal polarisation (prongs horizontal) and pointing South-West.
If your aerial has vertical polarisation and is pointing North-East, it will be receiving the Seagry Court relay which does cover your location (but only with Freeview Lite MUXs).

Rachel: Problem might be adjacent channel interference coming from the Guildford analogue ITV signal (Guildford is almost exactly "behind" your aerial, assuming that Hannington is your transmitter - aerial pointing west-north-west).
You may have to wait until the Crystal Palace DSO (4th April) before it improves.

C59 (778.0MHz) before switchover

iSkiapod: Have you done the "Default Setting" from the Installation menu prior to retuning? If not, the programmes that the F2-FOX finds on UHF42 will have been added to the programme list with numbers in the 800s (as the previous data for pre-DSO channels hasn't been removed, hence the blank screen).

michael: Does the 10C ensemble show up as "South East Devon" on your DAB radio, there, or have they given it a different name (since they've put it on a different block)? Looks to be the only ensemble using 10C in the UK!

michael: I'd be interested to know how you get on - the Ofcom consultation document suggests that 10C would have the same pattern as the BBC National DAB antenna, but the same ERP as D1 - but that may not be what was actually implemented. Ahead of the "tech parameters" being updated, it would be interesting to know if the 10C ensemble has its own "name", and whether the programmes on it match those on the South East Devon ensemble (or not), which seems to be suggested by the consultation doc.
Is your DAB reception at home coming from Wenvoe?

Adrian Robson: Which way is your aerial pointing? Due south (with horizontal polarisation) would be the Mendip Tx. East-south-east (with vertical polarisation would be the Kings Weston Tx.

Steve Swift: Are other folk in the flats having the same problem? If there are channel filters, everyone will be affected.
