Absolutely love your coverage maps Brian. God knows how many hours i've spent looking at them when i should be attending to other things . My fascination with radio started in 1977 , when being bored stiff with the repetition of the bee gees, abba etc, i trundled up the dial of the transistor radio from 247 m and to my absolute delight, a slightly fainter sound of punk / new wavewas being played - by radio victory. -their playlist was determined by local record shop sales. When i heard that they transmitted on 95 mhz, i duly waved the antennae about in vain, being app 23 miles away from Portsdown Hill. Salvation appeared when an uncle handed down a giant wireless with 'vhf' in mcs and in the centre of this magnificent wooden beast, a green magic eye, and a jack at the back to insert wire.. On seeing a tv advert for " iba yearbook 1978 " , my eyes popped out at a glimpse of coverage area maps - my mother bless her , bought me a copy, probably six weeks later! ! ( we were poor as church mice ) ,Anyway, with a wire going up to an old vhf tv ant in the roof, i had great signals.. Please can you do the mendip 95.5 analogue signal coverage. ? It's blank! Xx
