Mandy Madgwick : You are only 9km away from the Midhurst transmitter and should be getting a strong signal. If you are loosing signal when it rains the most likely explanation is that the rain has gotten in to your aerial or cabling.

leonard Horsfall: Todmorden is current a Group B transmitter, however if you are having a new aerial it would be advisable to fit a wideband type in most instances in order to ensure your aerial will remain suitable for any future frequency changes.

Declan: Make a note of any planned recordings, then unplug the aerial and retune which should clear the channel list completely. Then reconnect the aerial and retune again, which should restore all your channels with fresh tuning data.

Hayley LR: You most likely have a Group A aerial which is not designed to receive the higher frequencies that COM7 & COM8 are now broadcast on from Crystal Palace. If you don't have satellite or cable you may be eligible to have a replacement wideband aerial fitted free of charge, which can be arranged by contacting the Freeview Advice Line (see link below).

Andy Humphreys: COM6 moved to UHF channel 37. If you can't restore the missing channels by manual tuning then you will need to contact whoever is responsible for the communal aerial system which will need adjusting, with the aerial potentially needing to be replaced if it isn't a wideband type.
