Jo Oughton : There are no faults showing for the Redruth transmitter (predicted to give the best coverage at your postcode). Retuning will never fix a weak signal and often makes things worse as you are just deleting all of your correctly tuned channels and searching for them again. Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV?

Alan Risby: There are recent engineering notices warning of weak signal in recent days, so it looks like there may have been engineering work taking place. Retuning is the worst thing to do and will never fix a weak signal as the TV is already correctly tuned, you are just deleting all of your channels and searching for them again.

Stockland Hill (Devon, England) transmitter

Helen: There are no faults showing and no one else is reporting a problem, so the most likely explanation is that you have a problem with your aerial system. Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? Please provide a full postcode so that we can see where you are in relation to the transmitter and your predicted coverage etc.

E J Gooding: As this website has no connection with any broadcaster or transmitter company, no one here has any further details of what works are taking place or how long until they are completed, although as Digital UK are showing that frequency changes are due to take place next week (31st October) it would be a reasonable guess that there is work taking place in preparation for the changes. It certainly won't be to add any additional multiplexes/channels, which is just unrealistic for a transmitter serving only 700 homes.

Richard Brind: There are engineering notices currently warning of reduced quality, so it looks like engineering work is currently taking place. Do not attempt to retune.

Stockland Hill (Devon, England) transmitter

Chris Alexander: I suspect you may be suffering with interference as the Digital UK checker shows that Beacon Hill would provide a stronger signal at your location, whereas Stockland Hill is shown to be OK on some multiplexes and variable on others. It looks like this is set to get worse when frequency changes occur at other transmitters next year, so you may well end up needing to have your aerial replaced with a wideband type pointed at Beacon Hill (you should be eligible to have this carried out free of charge after the frequency changes take place if you don't have satellite or cable and it causes you to loose reception).

Jo: True Entertainment is not broadcast from any transmitters in Wales. Depending on where you are (please provide a full postcode) you may be able to receive it from a transmitter in England.

darren hardman: I'm not entirely sure what you're asking but if it's about subtitles, that is down to the broadcaster so you would be better off contacting Horror Channel via their own website.

Belinda: Your Sky box is capable of receiving all free to air satellite channels (which includes near all of the channels available on Freeview) although you won't have any ability to record. Which FTA channels are not working?
