dennis: If the VHS/DVD combi only has one SCART socket also then you would need a SCART switch box such as the one linked below on Amazon. Although if you're using a HD TV and a Sky HD box then you would get better picture quality by connecting the Sky box to the TV with a HDMI lead and only using SCART for the VHS/DVD combi.

Karen Owen: The Llandecwyn transmitter changed frequencies early on Wednesday 14th. If you have not already done so you will need to retune. If that does not restore your channels you should contact the Freeview Advice Line (see link below).

brian fisher : Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? What signal strength and quality readings do you get on the affected channels? Please provide a full postcode so that we can see where you are in relation to the transmitter and your predicted coverage etc.

Paul: Bear in mind that Alexandra Palace will give you far fewer channels and also broadcasts at much lower power (it was only brought back in to service as a relay to fill gaps in Crystal Palace's coverage). Also, which transmitter is your aerial pointed at?

Emley Moor (Kirklees, England) transmitter
Sunday 18 November 2018 11:19AM

Joseph Bowman: Emley Moor covers over 1.5 million households so if there was a fault thousands of people would be complaining, so realistically there has to be a fault or interference somewhere at your end. Retuning was the worst thing to do as you have now deleted some of your correctly tuned channels, making it harder to see when the fault has been fixed. Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connection behind your TV? What signal strength and quality readings do you get on the channels which are still working? Although you are 90km away Emley Moor is one of the most powerful transmitters in the country and you are predicted to receive a good signal.

Paul James Smith: You should contact the AT800 organisation (https://at800.tv/) who can provide you with a free plug-in filter to block out any interference from 4G mobile services operating in the 800MHz band formerly used for Freeview transmissions.

Kenneth Taylor: Try contacting the radio station and asking them, this isn't their website.

L Wilkins: Drama is a Free To Air (FTA) channel so you don't need to subscribe to anything to receive it. Alibi is a pay channel may be available via other online subscription services (this website is about Free To Air TV so you would have to look elsewhere).

Mrs c clarke: The Hope under Dinmore transmitter changed frequencies on 31st October, so have you retuned since then? If retuning hasn't restored your channels then you should contact the Freeview Advice Line (see link below).
