Alan Lyne: Could you clarify which channel you're talking about? ITV3 is still on channel 10 but it changed multiplex last year (it is now on the same mux as ITV, ITV2, Channel 4 & Channel 5) so you may need to retune if your TV or box hasn't updated.

Sue: Can you receive 4Music on 18 and yesterday on 19? If you can then you should still be able to receive Sewing Quarter on channel 73 after retuning.

J.Vasanthen: The box on the aerial pole is probably a masthead amplifier. You would need to call out an aerial installer if you can't safely access it yourself.

Rob Johnson: Sewing Quarter has moved to the COM6 multiplex which is not broadcast from West Runton. The broadcaster's message about a red button service seems to actually be that that the channel can be streamed over the internet on a compatible smart TV or set top box during the hours when it is not broadcasting on Freeview.

Jackiie: The transmitter isn't being switched off overnight, no Freeview transmitter does that. It's quite likely that you're suffering from local electrical interference from something operating on a timer which is spewing out electrical noise and drowning out the signal.

Hammy: It has moved to the local TV multiplex. If you can receive a local TV station on channel 7 or 8 then retune and Sony Crime Channel should reappear.

Rachel: Sony Crime Channel has moved to the local TV multiplex. I don't think there are any local TV stations that have any coverage in Hastings so you would have to look at alternatives such as Freesat.

Karl Thomas: Probably because you're picking up signals from two different transmitters in different regions. If you provide a full postcode we can take a look at your predicted coverage and see what you should be able to get.

David long: Start by checking for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind her TV, then follow back as far as you can safely access towards the aerial.

Rob Johnson: The manufacturer has to pay a licence fee in order to make the Freesat guide available, which it sounds like Sony hasn't chosen to do for that particular model. A Freesat box would be the only way of making the Freesat EPG available on that TV.
