Terry Bannon: What do you mean by channel 60 (radio)? Are you referring to UHF channel 60 which carries the PSB1 multiplex from Beacon Hill (BBC SD channels) or do you mean LCN 60 (Sony Crime Channel +1) which is not broadcast from Beacon Hill?

A Lloyd: COM7 and COM8 will not be added to any additional transmitters. According to Digital UK, some transmitters are due to have COM7 and COM8 removed later this year when other multiplexes change frequency.

Richard Thorndycroft: If you're paying 100 per month then I'm guessing that you've subscribed to either Sky or Virgin cable. If you have Sky, cancelling your subscription will still leave you with all of the free channels available through your Sky box (although you won't be able to record them or play back any previous recordings).

Moira Ashford : Black Country Radio is broadcast in DAB+ on the Birmingham small scale multiplex, which has limited coverage from a single transmitter. If you can receive Big City Radio which broadcasts in standard DAB on the same mux then your radio is not compatible with DAB+. If you can't receive Big City Radio then you are probably outside of the coverage area.

Kelvin Butler: It may be that your TV has auto-retuned and picked up Chatton in preference to Selkirk. If you check the 800 channels range you should find any duplicates there.

John Curtin: Are both TVs fed from the same aerial? Do you have an amplifier? Have you checked whether any neighbours are also having a problem with Freeview? Do not attempt to retune.

Dr C A Fox: If you can see the transmitter then there's a good chance that your TV is being overloaded with too much signal (try fitting an attenuator to reduce the signal strength). What signal strength and quality readings on other channels such as ITV?

T C Jones: There is no one from the transmitter company on this website, but it is unlikely to be anything to do with the transmitter. If it is happening at the same time every day then it's quite likely to be electronic interference from something in your home (or a near neighbour) operating on a timer, quite likely something with an electric motor.

john: According to Digital UK, Black Mountin broadcasts the NI mux (RTE1, RTE2 & TG4) in horizontal polarity, as it is intended to provide an additional service to viewers receiving Divis (the transmitters are only a short distance apart).

Robert: According to Digital UK, UHF channels 32 and 34 are not currently used by Mendip. PSB1 will move to UHF C32 on 4th April and PSB2 will move to C34 on 5th June. Are these the multiplexes that you've lost? They are currently still on C49 and C54 (retuning was a bad idea as you've now lost the tuning data for these muxes when they were previously correctly tuned). Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV?
