Andy Williams: Perhaps because you are also predicted to get a good signal from Sutton Coldfield, which despite being further away broadcasts at a much higher power level.

ECC: The SDL National mux (which carries Scala) is predicted to be available at your postcode. Do you have Absolute 80s and Planet Rock in your station list (both are also on SDL)?

Lena mc Veigh : If you mean U105, it was removed from Freeview in Northern Ireland some time ago.

Chrissie cruickshank : There are no faults showing with the Ridge Hill transmitter, if it has been off air for 2 days there would be thousands of complaints. Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? Do not attempt to retune.

Keith: COM7 & COM8 have moved to UHF channels 55 & 56, where they will remain until they close in the next couple of years. These are well outside of the frequency range that your Group A aerial is designed to receive and there is nothing that will improve this. Your choice is to either fit a wideband aerial and accept that you won't get a strong signal or look at getting Freesat.

Terry Tibbs : There are no faults showing for the Sandy Heath transmitter (this website is independent and has no connection with the transmitter company or any broadcaster). Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? Retuning will not fix a problem with weak signal and often makes it worse, as you are just deleting all of your correctly tuned channels and searching for them again.

andyfras: One will be carrying That's Berkshire and the other will be carrying That's Surrey. Both show the same programs most of the day but have separate local news programs in the evening.
