Pauline Bradley : All of RTE's channels are subscription services on satellite and are only receivable on Sky boxes with subscriptions registered at an address in Ireland (either Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland).

David Harris: There is only one local DAB multiplex for Essex, there are no separate services for Southend and Chelmsford on DAB.

Derrick Feist : It's quite likely to be due to the current weather conditions, which cause radio signal to travel further than normal, so you may well be suffering with interference from distant transmitters which wouldn't normally be receivable, which broadcast on the same frequencies as the transmitter you're trying to receive.

frank allen: No one can possibly answer that without knowing which transmitter you're using. If you provide a full postcode we'll be able to see which transmitters are available at your location, where you are in relation to them and your predicted coverage etc. Do not attempt to retune until it has been established if the transmitter you're using has change frequency in the last few days.

Corrieri: Please provide a full postcode so that we can see where you are in relation to the transmitter and your predicted signal strength etc. Kinross is a Freeview Lite relay covering only around 3,000 houses and is not considered to be worthwhile by the commercial broadcasters to provide their full range of channels given the costs involved and the small number of additional viewers they would gain. If you want more channels, look at getting Freesat.

Tony: There are no faults showing for Hannington and nobody else is reporting any problems. Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? Retuning was a bad idea as you've now deleted the previously correct tuning data for the missing channels.

Mike Scofield: Whitehawk Hill has not extended any coverage last week. There are currently separate filler broadcasts of the PSB1-3 multiplexes which began last year on the new frequencies (UHF channels 48/35/36), in order to prevent some viewers loosing coverage of the main PSB multiplexes on their existing frequencies whilst frequency changes are taking place. The existing PSB3 multiplex on UHF channel 51 will move to UHF channel 36 later this year. You would appear to be in an area where both frequencies can be received.
