Joanne Ness: Stop retuning, it will never fix a weak signal as you're just deleting your correctly tuned channels and searching for them again. Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? Please provide a full postcode so that we can see which transmitter you're using and where you are in relation to it.

Martin : The COM7 & COM8 multiplexes (which carry several HD and SD channels) recently closed at Beacon Hill. You will now only be able to receive HD versions of BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 & CBBC.

Rob: This website has no connection with any broadcaster and they will not see your complaint here. You would be better off contacting the channel via their own website.

Michael Crewdson: No, you won't be able to record or play back anything on your Sky box once your subscription ends. You will still be able to watch all free to air (FTA) and free to view (FTV) channels.

Andrew Cook: If all other TVs are fine then it's unlikely that the aerial is out of alignment. It sounds more like there is a problem with the cabling to your bedroom TV. You can check by taking the bedroom TV and connecting it with the same socket and cables that are working in the lounge. If it works in the lounge, try replacing the cable from the socket to the TV in the bedroom. If the bedroom TV works from the socket in the lounge then it's pretty clear that there is a cabling fault somewhere.

Rex Watson: Have you looked at getting Freesat? A one-off cost for the dish + box and installation (or reuse an existing dish & cabling if the property has previously had Sky at some point in the last 20 years).

Annoyed: Your TV licence does not provide any funding for commercial stations such as True Movies. The only broadcasters it does fund are the BBC and S4C.

john charlesworth: If the problem is only happening at certain times it is most likely being caused by something in your home (or a near neighbour) being switched on/off via a timer, such as a central heating system, which can emit electrical interference.
