All free TV channels in the UK

George Smith: If you cancel your Sky subscription you will still receive all of the free to air (FTA) channels, along with the handful of free to view (FTV) channels and the correct BBC/ITV/C4 region by leaving your existing viewing card in place. You won't be able to watch any downloaded/recorded programs as the Sky+ functionality will be disabled once your subscription has ended. Your subscription to Premier Sports 1/2 won't be affected as long as you keep the same viewing card (FreeSports is FTA and does not require a subscription).

Kathryn: It is being reported elsewhere that due to a technical fault, BBC One is unable to broadcast Wales Today. They seem to have decided to replace it with Newsline from BBC One Northern Ireland, rather than the red screen or BBC News channel. This is not a transmitter or equipment fault, do not attempt to retune.

Linda Sweeney: As per the numerous posts across this website from myself and others, True Movies and True Entertainment have been moved by Sony (who own the True channels) to the local TV multiplex and is now only available in area where there is a local TV station on Freeview channel 7 or 8.

Kathy Evans: As has been covered many times across this website, True Entertainment and True Movies have been moved by their owner (Sony) and are now broadcast on the local TV multiplex, therefore they are now available only in areas where there is a local TV station on Freeview channel 7 or 8.

F Byrne: There is no recent engineering work shown for Limavady, although there are several frequency changes taking place on 4th September. As you're in the Republic of Ireland and therefore don't have a UK postcode, I don't think the Digital UK checker will be much use. Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV?

Chelsea: True Movies and True Entertianment were moved to the local TV multiplex by Sony (who own the True channels) and are now only available in areas where there is a local TV station on Freeview channel 7 or 8. This has nothing to do with this website, which exists to provide technical help with TV & radio reception problems and has no connection with any broadcaster.

Map of all DAB transmitters
Monday 19 August 2019 9:56PM

Christopher Anthony: If you provide a full postcode we will be able to see a prediction of which DAB stations should be available at your location. The BBC Nations, D1 National and local Norfolk multiplexes are all broadcast from the Great Yarmouth transmitter, so unless you are in a dead zone you should get something. Did the hifi unit not come with some sort of wire aerial for DAB?

Karen Illsley: They never say how long the engineering work will last, as it can be affected factors such as weather conditions which are beyond the engineers control. Freeview channels are all terrestrial (they are all broadcast from a land-based transmitter tower).

Jim Pick : There has been engineering work recently at Sandy Heath. They do not announce the times that it is being carried out or when it will be finished.
