Michael Phelps: Unfortunately a number of maps on this website have transmitters shown in incorrect locations (some are shown in the middle of the sea), something which the owner of this website hasn't been able to sort out.

Pete: Nothing has changed with the red button text service (it was due to close but that has been postponed). Is your TV connected to the internet? If so, it is probably trying to load the Connected Red Button internet service, so next time you get service unavailable it would be worth checking in the TV settings to make sure that it is still connected via wifi (unless you have it connected via ethernet cable) and that it can access the internet (most smart TVs have a connection test option).

Mac Fletcher: The Birmingham local TV station is not broadcast from the Wrekin transmitter. If you provide a full postcode we can check whether you might be able to receive it from another transmitter.

Philip Davies: The at800 4G filters are certainly not a gimmick as they have successfully blocked 4G 800MHz interference for most people who have suffered with it. As Chris.SE says, it is unlikely that you are suffering from 4G interference on UHF channel 25, as that is near the lower end of the UHF band and 4G services only start at 792MHz in the end of the UHF band, so an at800 filter was unlikely to solve your problem anyway.

Also, there is no free for all scramble for mobile phone services, there has been a programme of frequency changes in order to clear the 700MHz band (again in the upper part of the UHF band well away from channel 25) which was due to be auctioned off for future 5G services, however the auction has been postponed due to the pandemic.

Satellite services such as Sky or Freesat (which both receive the same free to air channels broadcast from the same satellites) picking up interference is extremely unusual and are not at all susceptible to the same weather related phenomenon that terrestrial broadcasts can sometimes suffer with (this was first observed when UHF broadcasting began in the 1960s), so I've no idea where you heard that from.

Nicholas Hews: COM5 is broadcast on UHF channel 34 from Huntshaw Cross, which is within the frequency range a Group A aerial is designed to receive. Do you get Dave on Freeview channel 19, which is also on COM5? Please provide a full postcode so that we can see where you are in relation to the transmitter and your predicted coverage etc.

Denis GALVIN: From information on the MB21 website, it appears that the transmitter is located on St Mary's Church Hall and is only used to broadcast Halton Community Radio on 92.3 FM. There are likely to be various other transmitter which are receivable in the area.

Roz Goodey: No one can answer that as you haven't told us where you are or which transmitter you're receiving. Please provide a full postcode. It would also be worth checking for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV, but do not attempt to retune.
