James O'Dowd : If it's due to atmospheric conditions then the solution is to wait for the weather conditions to change as there isn't anything else that can be done about the interference from distant transmitters. If it happens regularly consider switching to Freesat. In the meantime, have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV?

DAPHNE PRENTICE: Most indoor aerials will only work well if you are very close to the transmitter, or can see if in the distance if it broadcasts at a high power level. If you provide a full postcode we can check the predicted coverage at your location.

Raymond Taylor: PSB3 has always been on UHF channel 30 from Crystal Palace, the error on this page has been acknowledged by regular contributors numerous times but only the site owner is able to fix it.

Tellybelly: If there is a very strong signal sometimes a short length of cable plugged in to the back of the TV is all the antenna you need.

Nicholas Anderson: The BBC haven't made a decision yet. What they've said is that BBC Four and CBBC may close as linear channels in 3 years time if the licence fee doesn't increase.

Michael Martin: It certainly won't be Winter Hill which is the page you've posted on. The Oxford transmitter should generally cover Wantage, but we need a full postcode to access the predicted coverage for your exact location.

ITV 3 +1

Richard Cooke : How is anyone being short changed when you aren't paying anything to watch either CITV, ITV3 +1 or indeed any of ITV's channels? Clearly ITV think that giving more hours to the CITV channel is better commercially.

Leslie Sinclair: Morpeth is a Lite transmitter serving only around 4,000 homes, so it is unlikely to ever have many more channels added.
