Hi Phil, If you've got a fairly new TV then you need this adapter CI+ Landing | Top Up TV but you would still have to pay to watch. (BN229BX)

Out of interest. Before digital (from Heathfield) I had two amplifier's to run 4 televisions of of one aerial, since switchover I have had to remove both amp's and now run all 4 with perfect results of the same aerial.

jb38: The aerial is a high gain (class 1) outdoor, I fitted it to pick up a weak digital signal before change over. All splitters are passive and one of the sets is driven by an old freeview box which shows max signal strength.

Helen, I'm not an expert but I think it depends where you live. I am in Hampden Park Eastbourne, and signal is so good I'm running 4 tv's from one aerial using passive splitters no amplifiers. In the past, before the change over, I had to use to amplifiers.

I'm sorry Ian but I have to agree with Brian here, it SEEMS to me you have little knowledge of the working of Ofcom and you should REALLY do a little more research into their workings.

Roy. I'm from Eastbourne to and can remember a TV engineer who lived in Rosebery Avenue, who built a scaffold mast on the side of his house so he could receive southern from Dover.
