ms jones: Obviously check whether your leads are connected properly, but I suspect the best thing to do is to simply retune.

BTW - I've noticed a couple of posts where people have included phone numbers. Although postcodes can be very useful for predicting , telephone numbers should not be included for a number of reasons.

Firstly - none of the questions are answered by people from any offical helpline. Nobody is ever going to ring you up and guide you through something, etc. If you want like that, then contact a professional.

Secondly, telephone numbers dont really help in locating you for reception purposes, where you are at the best of times, and mobile numbers certainly dont.

Lastly, and most importantly - you've given out your phone number to potentially anyone on the internet, which could certainly put you at risk, and is of course unwise.

Hopefully, a retune will sort out your problem, but if not, come back with a postcode and a description of your setup.

I live in Frances Street and we are now restricted to only view the BBC for the last week with no ITV or . We've been up on the and moved the but this has made no difference?? What can we do? Why has the been lost within the last week?

Hi, I wonder if anyone could advise. My postcode is TS17 8AD and a few days ago (after the windy weather) I lost all on the 5usa section (Ch50 I think) I have a Panasonic TV with and my Panasonic DVD recorder has Freeview+. Its the DVD Freeview which is not working, the TV is fine. I have tried re-, unplugging, resets, scans, etc. It was showing programme info but , however after my latest unplugging effort the DVD box has lost all channels on the CH50 set. It is now not possible for me to record anything from those channels on my DVD box. My looks the same position as before and I am getting all channels on the TV and all but one set on the DVD box so maybe it is not the ? Any would be appreciated, as I am missing all my favourite programmes. Thanks

Yaz: All the aerials I can see on Streetview are pointing roughly due south, which is to . COM4 (SDN, the which carries 5USA and others) is on from Bilsdale and from which is the opposite direction.

If it was tuned not to the to which the faces then this explains why has changed.

Bring up the signal strength screen on the TV and see which it is tuned to.

Pontop Pike's are in roughly the top half of the band and Bilsdale's are in the bottom half, so unplugging the aerial after the first 50% of the should miss out Pontop Pike.

If you do try feeding the incoming lead directly into your TV and then perform a manual of C49 again.
