Freeview reception at LU2 7YT

For reliable and stable Freeview reception, you need an unobstructed path between the TV aerial on your roof and the digital TV transmitter. The map below shows the transmitters predicted to provide a signal at this location.

You can click on any transmitter symbol to show the coverage area as a green overlay on the map. Double click on a transmitter symbol to go to the transmitter information page.

You can also view the ten closest potential '4G-at-800' mobile phone masts within 1.5km of the selected location - these masts may be used for 4G-at-800 mobile broadband services from 2013-2015.

jamie stevens: Thanks, Jamie. Reception is notoriously round here as we live on a very steep hill and close to the airport. No chance of finding decent reception without a meter.

Apparently 4G was switched on in Fleet yesterday:http://www.trustedreviews.com/news/ee-4g-coverage-hits-a-further-12-uk-towns
Is that too far to have any effect on Hannington?
I don't believe the air pressure line because it was much higher at the beginning of Sept and we didn't have all these problems.

kate:

when it comes to 4g issues it depends on the 4g mast signal near you and not the transmitter.

you should only be affected if you are close to one or have an amp on your system.

Freeview in Cambridge has been dropping out all eveving, from about 8.30pm. Still not watchable. Tnis is true on two separate systems, one with a masthead amplifier, one without.

In Wareham we haven't been able to watch anything much except BBC, and that kept breaking up. Seems to be ok at present, but after re-scanning the channels we've lost Sky News (82) altogether - it's not even on the list.

Next day and still same problems - stations dropping out, going from no signal to no channel to working and then dropping again. Obviously it's something as lots of others are having same issues - would just be nice to know what!
