By providing a full postcode (such as W1A 1AA), national grid reference (for example SE123456) or latitude, longitude pair (like 54, -0.5) this page will provide a map, terrain plot and detailed information of the location showing the UK and RoI television transmitters that it is possible you receive Freeview, Freeview HD, Youview, BT TV and Saorview from.

(Don't know your postcode? Find it at Post Office Postcode finder).

UK Free TV uniquely shows you transmitter coverage maps, aerial to transmitter terrain plots, the closest 10 mobile phone masts (for possible 5G-at-800 interference) as well as tabulated information (sorted by direction, by received signal strength, by frequency, by service names or by transmitter name).

Terence: Since your less than 7km from probably one of the most powerful transmitters around, I'd start by checking your signal strength, and look at this page -

Andrew Brown: You posted the same question 5 days ago without reply. Presumably there's no one on here using those transmitters, and if there are indeed problems, you should let the BBC/Arquiva/Digital UK know about it...

Hi,
Our TV has decided (again) to change the channel order (it condenses the channels so they fit 1-100 with no gaps...) which is all fine and well until my daughter puts channel 71 on (used to be cbeebies and now is an adult channel!)

Anyone know why this occurs? The TV hasnt been rescanned and it's been fine a hour before!

Thanks in advance

Matthew: Is there an option in the menu for LCN ordering to be enabled/disabled? If there is, select "enabled"..

I'm in falkirk and have completely lost all my channels since yesterday tea time, I've retuned about 10 Times moving the aerial as I go. Still no luck, do you think this could be to do with the burnt island work getting carried out a fair bit away? This happens every now and again but never this long and it's annoying.

Matthew: LCN is "logical channel number", i.e. LCN1 for BBC One, LCN2 for BBC Two etc.

Ensure that it is set to UK as an incorrect country setting can sometimes result in services not assuming their proper LCNs.

Ah..
It is set at a UK installation so I assume thats what you're meaning as apart from the language theres no other menu that has a country option.

Thanks

Good afternoon. I have a freeview set up TV and have, until a week ago, been receiving ITV 1, 2, 3. However I cannot view any of these channels now even though I have done an auto tune. My address and postcode is 629 The Cottonworks, Holden Mill. Blackburn Rd. Bolton. BL1 7QP. Can you please advise me how I might resolve this problem.
Thank you.
